Came to this Tajima numerous times, one of the better ramen places in San Diego and definitely one of my favorites. I've had the Tajima Ramen (Original Tonkotsu Pork Bone broth, Egg Noodles, Pork Chashu, 1/2 Ramen Egg, Fried Garlic, Corn, Baby Bok Choy, Green Onions, and Sesame Seeds), the Spicy Sesame Ramen (Spicy Tonkotsu Pork Bone broth, mixed with special Sesame Paste, Egg Noodles, Ground Pork, 1/2 Ramen Egg, Corn, Fried Garlic Chips, Baby Bok Choy, Green Onions, and Sesame Seeds) and Curry Ramen (Original Tonkotsu Pork Bone broth, mixed with special spiced Curry, Egg noodles, Ground Pork, 1/2 Ramen egg, Baby Spinach, Corn, Green Onions, and Sesame seeds). I've also tried the side of fries with mayo/aioli sauce drizzled on top. My favorite is the Spicy Sesame Ramen!

I've tried countless ramen spots, but I always find myself comparing them to Tajima, and for me, Tajima consistently comes out on top. While I've visited several Tajima locations, my favorite by far is the one in Convoy. The ramen here is simply unparalleled. The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are perfectly cooked. The toppings are always fresh butt could be a little more generous. Every bowl is a comforting, delicious experience that never disappoints. If you're a ramen enthusiast like me, this Tajima in Convoy is a must-visit. It truly sets the standard for what great ramen should be.

Came here on a Wednesday evening with a group of 8 people and we were seated very quickly! Service was so fast and our waitress was so friendly and gave us great recommendations. I tried the curry ramen and it was so warm, comforting, and flavorful! The noodles were fantastic and there were so many toppings.

This is one of my favorite Ramen places in San Diego and this newer La Mesa location is really nice! There seems to be more space and we haven't experienced a wait here, yet. I love their carnitas ramen. I get cravings for it somewhat regularly. It's a really unique and delicious fusion of Mexican flavors in a Japanese dish. The tajima ramen is also excellent, my husband tends to order that one. We love ramen eggs, so we tend to add extra! The karaage is a great appetizer, if you like fried chicken. We recently tried a few of their boa bun tacos and enjoyed both the carnitas and salmon. Excited to try the other taco options next time! I don't think we've ever been disappointed in anything we have ordered at any Tajima restaurant in San Diego. We've been enjoying them for about a decade now.

Came here for dinner our last night in San Diego. Located in a small strip mall. Parking is hard to find on a weekend evening. We arrived around 630-7pm and was seated right away. The decor is modern and felt spacious. They had a high chair for our toddler. We ordered the chicken karage and two bowls of ramen. Our daughter enjoyed both the chicken and the ramen. Service was fine.

Went on a busy Friday night, but was seated quickly since I came with only one other person. Overall a decent, casual, and nice place with good ramen and appetizers. We ordered their karaage, gyoza, soju flight, and two of their ramens: Tajima '23 and the spicy one (I forgot the name of it). Karaage was crunchy and the chicken wasn't dry, tasted good with the dipping sauce that complimented it. The gyoza could've been fried longer, since the bottoms were still soft and not crispy, but the taste was good too. For the soju flight, we had the lychee, strawberry, and grape (see pictured), and was good to drink alongside the appetizers and ramen. My favorite was the lychee one. My ramen was their house Tajima '23 ramen. I finished the whole bowl of it, most likely because of my hunger, but the overall bowl was just the right temperature and not scorching hot where I had to wait to eat it. My favorite part is eating the soft-boiled egg and chashu pork last because they both absorb the broth as I eat the ramen noodles.!
